I'd like to hear from anyone who uses drugstore.com either here on this topic or in a PM. I find the site very accessible and have been using it for years but am having one particular problem that their customer service department doesn't seem to be able to help me with. I won't go into the problem I am having here because it will take some explaining, so I'd like to know if other people use this site before I take the time to go into details.

I have used it, and haven't had any issues buying things. Seems pretty straight forward.
I think it takes some learning how they arrange things, but once I had that, I was okay.
I don't use it often, but can easy.

My problem isn't with buying things. My problem is deleting things from my list. Whenever you order something, it then is automatically put on your list so that whenever you visit the site again, if you want to reorder something you have already ordered, you just go to your list and scroll through it and check the items you want to reorder. At the end of the list is a link that says "ad selecte items to shopping bag." That part works just fine for me. But if you want to clean up your list and get rid of any items you are sure you will never order again, you are supposed to go through the list and check the items and then click on the link that says "remove selected items from shopping bag." However, this feature does not work for me. I have written to customer support and called and talked to different customer service agents. They all say it should work. The people I have talked to on the phone are willing to go through my list with me and delete the items I want to delete, but I want to be able to do this myself. None of the agents I have talked to or written to know why it is not working. I just thought maybe someone on here who uses this site might be able to tell me how to do it if it works for them.

Ah, that would be a problem.
I don't buy enough, so haven't seen it yet.
Here is a maybe.
You go on the list and on the item you don't want even though it doesn't have a check box, or anything go ahead and press space on it. Go to the bottom and hit the delete and see what happens.
You can also try selecting the items with the Shift and right or left arrow key or the down arrow key.
These are just suggestions.

Okay. Here is what I learned.

At the top or near the top of the page is a link called your list.
I click that on then I use my letter h to skip through headings until I get to “the sale”
Or I use the letter N to skip to “show”
Once I get to either, I arrow down and can see my list
Under show I find 2 combo boxes.
All items, or Category. I don’t use these, but you might want to.
Now I see a remove from shopping bag button, or add selected item to shopping bag button.
Under that you have options to sort, but I leave that as is as well, I don’t have that many items.
Under that is a quantity check box. It allows you to select all the products as you ordered them to by.
Under that each product is listed, so under the description and quantity you find a check box. Check it to either remove, or add the product to your shopping bag.
After that you can go back up to the top of the list to select add or remove, or you find the buttons at the bottom of the list as well.
I use that list before ordering.
Also note, below all that you have privacy settings. Sensitive items will not show on your list if you have the privacy setting on.
You can email your list and other options as well, but you’ll see these.
Hope this helps. If anything I wrote doesn’t make sense ask about it and I’ll do better.

According to instructions I've read on the site and what various customer service people have told me, I'm supposed to check the box for each item on my list that I want to delete and then hit the remove selected items from bag button. I do all that, but it doesn't work.

I use Drugstore.com too, and have never had problems. But I've never used my list, or really looked at it, so I haven't run into this. But you've made me curious Becky, so I might go check it out and see if I can get it to work or not. Probably not, but worth a shot.

Interesting. Let me see some more. It works.

Okay, I missed a step, because I am so use to looking for this.
Once you have checked the check box, and hit the remove button, go to the end of the page. I use the end key to get there.
Move up a bit. You will find a message asking you if you are sure, and a cancel or a yes button.
Hit the yes and you clear your items.
This same feature is on bill paying sites and such, when you make a payment. You have to go to the end of the page to confirm your choices. Why? I have no clue, but there it is.
Ask again if this doesn't make sense.
It works.

Wayne, a million hugs for you! I never thought to look at the bottom of the page once I hit the remove button. This has been frustrating me for several months, and when I asked the customer service people if I was missing a step after describing to them exactly what I was doing, none of them told me to look for the question about being sure. Thank you so much.

I think they do that so you actually have to double check your selections so by the time you reach those buttons you can have a chance to skim stuff over again as it were.

The reason they don't see it is because they double clic I think. It highlights so.
Glad it works. Use that method on others as well. Smile.
